About us...

The Filipino Association for Micro-Entreprenership (FAME) was formed during an entrepreneurship seminar conducted recently by the Graduate School of the University of Santo Tomas at the Consulate.

The seminar was attended by leaders of different Filipino organizations in Hong Kong.

FAME has adopted as its main objective the propagation of entreprenership among the almost 160,000 Filipinos in Hong Kong, so that they would be ready to start their own businesses when they finally decide to go home for good.

In the elections of officers held during that seminar, the following officers were chosen:

Coordinator

In a meeting, the officers also agreed to appoint Cielita Carenan, president of The SUN Organization, as executive secretary.
